About The Institute

The Training Insitute for Mental Health is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York for the purpose of offering training in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy to psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, psychologists and social workers. Training is also offered in basic concepts of psychotherapy, in group and couples therapy, in psychotherapy with the generations of the Holocaust and related groups, and in the supervision of the psychotherapeutic process. In addition, continuing education courses are offered to mental health professionals.
