Screening sessions are being scheduled for an A.C.O.A. therapy group.
The group format involves weekly 90-minute sessions with members
who coem together to explore their interpersonal relationships.
The past and present forms of perception and interaction will be
the central focus of the group experience. The group is seen as
a special social mircocosm where basic feelings and life themes
replay themselves and can be worked through.
Debra Maeet, CSW, Group Leader, is a staff therapist, group therapist
and faculty member for the Training Institute for Mental Health
and a psychoanalyst in private practice in Manhattan. For further

Adult Psychotherapy Groups
Groups provide a supportive environment to help members further
their emotional growth, work through past conflicts, develop assertiveness,
and improve relationship skills.
Malak Saremi, MSN, CS., Group Leader, is a clinical nurse specialist
in private practice in Manhattan and staff therapist for the Training
Institute. She has a certificate in individual psychoanalysis and
psychotherapy from the Training Institute for Mental Health.
