SUPERVISORY TRAINING

Supervision is primarily a teaching and learning experience. TIMH offers a one year training fellowship in supervision of the psychotherapeutic process. The curriculum consists of two components: a seminar on theory and principles, and a case seminar. It is taught in a positive emotional setting where individuals feel free to share their clinical questions and experiences in an open and direct way. The program is aimed at enhancing the personal and professional growth of the psychoanalytic therapist. The program currently meets from September to June for 1 hour on Tuesdays from 11:30 - 12:30PM. Each seminar comprises principles and techniques of supervision as well as cases in supervision. All supervision of TIMH fellowship students is from September to July of the academic year.
