This self-care workshop, designed specifically for mental health practitioners, will offer an experience-based introduction to SourcePoint through a guided meditation practice led by Jenny Hall and facilitated by Kristin Wynn, LCSW SEP.
SourcePoint Therapy® is a simple approach to energy work that helps us each reconnect with our own essential nature. Working with points both around and within the body, this practice ushers in relaxation, grounding, re-orientation, regulation and a deep sense of ease throughout one’s whole being.
SourcePoint meditations are best experienced sitting comfortably or lying down, so plan to have access to a yoga mat, couch, chair or bed -- make it cozy! Ahead of time, gather together anything you might need for added comfort: blanket, pillows, eye mask, wireless headphones, essential oils, glass of water, etc.
We will begin with a short introduction to the work, transition into the guided meditation practice, and reconnect at the end for reflections and questions. Cameras can be turned off during the meditation itself per your comfort.
JENNY HALL (she/her) is an advanced manual therapist who has been in private practice for over 15 years. She utilizes the wisdom of Rolfing® Structural Integration, a bodywork modality, and SourcePoint Therapy®, an energywork modality, to guide her clients toward the fundamental experience of deeply embodied wellness. Through skillfully honed techniques offered in a safe, non-judgmental environment, Jenny creates the conditions where one’s innate capacity for health and healing can flourish. Her approach is collaborative, educational, nurturing, creative and impactful. In addition to her private practice, Jenny offers group meditation sessions and leads workshops teaching embodied self-care techniques. She lives in Brooklyn with her wife and their scraggly pup, Rita. www.jennyhallbodywork.com
